Holiday Green Tea Smoothie
With all the festivities this season has to offer, make sure you are properly fueled. This holiday green tea smoothie provides a hearty dose of nutrients, so you'll have plenty of energy to get you through the season!
- 1 Salada Green Tea bag
- 1/4 cup of water, plus more as needed
- 2 tbsp. ground flax seeds
- 2 tbsp. oat bran
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
- 6 ounces low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/4 cup cranberry juice
- honey, to taste
- Brew green tea according to package, let cool.
- In a blender, combine ground flax seeds, oat bran, berries, yogurt and juice and blend until smooth.
- Squeeze and remove tea bag and add tea to berry mixture, blending until smooth.
- Adjust consistency with additional water, if needed sweeten with honey.
